  • Retired missionaries from Germany, living in Ankeny, IA
  • Helping minister to senior missionaries for Baptist Mid-Missions

Louis Miller

  • Retired builder, living at Manning, IA

Allen and Marilyn Adler

  • Native American ministry, Townsend, MT
  • Allen is doing prison ministry in May – nursing home work ongoing.
  • Since surgery, Allen has had retina swelling. Pray for their health needs.

Ron and Kathleen Weber

His book, Trials of Faith, telling of the difficulties they experienced as missionaries over 41 years in Brazil, is available. See the mission’s board.

Joan Nichols

  • Living in Ankeny, formerly served in Latin America
  • She was able to attend grandson’s wedding!
  • Has moved in with daughter and family. Needs more lymphoma treatment

Wyzetta Titus

  • Widow of Gerald Titus serving the homebound in her area of VA

Lois Wantoch

  • Serving in her Church in NE after years on the Amazon

Bonnie Abbas

  • Staying with her sister in IA after her stroke

Norman and Susan Smith family (www.smithlife.net)

  • Serving in Kumamoto, Japan
  • Seeking to build bridges to individuals and establish Churches
  • Amanda Gray is settled in and will be an asset to the ministry.
  • Norman continues to remodel the “barn” for ministry use.
  • A roof leak and fallen objects were the worst things experienced after the earthquakes. (The Smiths were at Church Camp so safer.)
  • A couple will intern this summer. Pray all goes well for them.

Darrel and Lori Jingst

  • EBI (Spanish Literature Publication) in Sebring, FL
  • Praise the Lord for 2 new staff couples coming to EBI.
  • 3-year Sunday School flip chart project is done.
  • Pray for safe arrival of 2 granddaughters.

Mike and Peggy Carr

  • Missionary Builders with CBM
  • Continued prayer needed for the Oconomowoc, WI building project.
  • Since seeing the new granddaughter, they have been to NY and soon head to West VA and on to MD, working on small projects.
  • Plan to attend the annual CBM Conference in Ankeny in mid-July.

  • Church Planting and Development Cordinator, Baptist Mid-Missions
  • They have helped enhance the team website (http://bmmnorthamerica.org) See the video “The Impossible Dream” there.
  • Pray for French-speaking work in Quebec, the Bronx intercity ministry, an Appalachian mountain plant in eastern KY, and a Spanish work in Grand Rapids, MI.

  • Pray about the planned VBS – July 11-15. The youth group planning to come and help can no longer come.

  • A special gift allowed a new Church sign that shows the Church’s name to be seen from both directions for passersby.
  • A group of teens from the Bunt’s sending Church plans to come and help with work on the Church building basement.
  • Pray for a team coming the first week of August to help with VBS.

Henry John Family

  • With Baptist Mid-Missions serving in their native India
  • Molly, again, in hospital. Pray a kidney will soon be available.
  • Henry headed to India in June with 4 others to teach modules.
  • Pray that funds will be available to buy land for the seminary. Meanwhile, the cost of modules is $1500. per module. Two church planters need scooters at $1200. Per scooter.
  • Henry’s family members were spared in an accident with the Church vehicle. Funds needed to replace it also.

  • Former medical missionaries to Nicaragua with ABWE
  • Busy in home Church and reporting to supporters.
  • Hoping for a trip back to Nicaragua this fall. Chance to work with International Health Ministries on assignments.

  • Pray for this month’s remodel project. Severe mold has been found in the kitchen.
  • Pray for the short furlough this summer. A family of 8 traveling may be a challenge!

  • Baptist Mid-Missions headed to the jungles of Peru
  • Group of 5 is going to the Jungle for 3 days. This will be Joy’s place of service.
  • Pray for the Kid’s Club in Lamay. It always needs prayers.

They have resigned from ABWE. Various situations and family     matters brought about the change of plans.

They are considering North American ministry with Village Missions.

They will need $1500. monthly support.

  • This is to be an 8 month trip and support is needed. See the Farlow’s letter.
  • Barry recently went to Natal, Brazil to teach a college level module. It was the first time Ellen had to deal with Mark’s diabetes by herself.

The Snells

  • Baptist Mid-Missions to Germany
  • Support is about half way. They are greatly needed on the field.

 

 

LET’S PRAY, GIVE, AND GO TO OUR NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS! IF WE ARE ALL FAITHFUL IN OUR TASK, THE JOB WILL GET DONE!
Pray for FBBC and Seminary students scattering across the Nation and around the World this summer; Pastor Capon, State GARBC Rep.; the online Bible study for kids at www.iToadU.com ; Shepherd’s; Alpha Women’s Center; our KJAN Radio Broadcast and our website: www.fbcbrayton.org ; IARBC statewide ministries; Baptist Children’s Home Ministries; and Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh.  Pray for the Jews. Pray for Israel. Pray for our Ladies Bible Study! Pray that we will see those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods! Pray that the Lord will speak to the hearts of boys and girls who attended Patch, PeeWees, and Compass Clubs that they and their parents will attend Sunday School and Church, that the kids will be in VBS in July. Pray for Amazing Grace Mission/Farmers for Christ International as the Gospel goes out across the U.S at fairs this summer.
