Patch The Pirate Club Kick Off!!

Ahoy,

First Baptist Church of Brayton, is excited to announce the voyage of the 2016-2017, Patch the Pirate Club. In celebration of this event, we would like to invite you and your children to the Patch the Pirate Club Year Kick-off on September 14, 2016, starting at 6:30! At the kick-off, you will have a chance to meet the Captains, as well as ask any questions that you may have. This evening will include sailor registration, cookout supper, and games. At 7:00 pm, there will be a brief parent-captain meeting to discuss the details of Patch the Pirate Club. In order to help supply books and uniforms for the sailors, there will be a $10 registration fee per child. (Maximum fee of $30 per family.)

This is what to expect this year: Patch the Pirate Club sets sail every week and while on the “high seas of adventure,” kids have fun learning basic music theory, playing active games, and learning the truths of God’s Word. Patch the Pirate Club embarks every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm and returns to port at 8:00 pm The club is divided into three groups of sailors. The first group, known as the Pee-Wee Club, includes sailors who are between the ages of 4 years old through 1st grade. The second group of sailors, known as the Patch Club: Second Mates, includes sailors who are from 2nd through 4th grades. The final group of sailors, known as Patch Club: First Mates, include sailors who are in the 5th or 6th grades.

As Patch the Pirate Club prepares to set sail, we hope to see your children counted as part of the crew. If you have any questions or will not be able attend the kick-off on September 14, 2016, please feel free to contact First Baptist Church of Brayton, by either phone (712-549-2303) or by our online message form (www.fbcbrayton.org/contact-us/).

We look forward to seeing you at the Kick Off.
