  • Praise God, a co-worker was spared being in the Ft. Lauderdale terrorism incident as he was still in traffic on the way there.

  • Pray for the 5 Church plants now underway in North India. Funds are needed for Seminary modules and to buy land for a permanent location for the seminary.

  • They are being assigned by ABWE to International Health Ministries for short-term work around the world. Description: “active retirement.”

  • Pray for the Sharbaughs and for the rest of their support to come in!
  • Pray for “X” who went back to her large Asian country recently – to make wise decisions and to find a Christian friend.

  • She received a warm welcome back to Chad.
  • The present translation work is with a language very different from what she worked with prior to her furlough. Pray for the team.
  • Pray for the Carew family as they move from the Central African Republic to Chad. Transition is not easy.
  • There are 4 months more with not a drop of rain. (6 mo. dry season!)

  • With Baptist Mid-Missions – Ghana.
  • Pray for the teaching trip to Ghana on the 28th. 82% of their support for their permanent return to work there has come in!

  • Pray for Rajesh and Soujanya, brother and sister. They are young adults and a great help to the missionaries. (Their mom died when they were very young.)

  • Missionaries to Germany
  • The initial work of starting a Church is going as well as can be expected with only the one missionary family. Pray that the Snells will be able to be with them on the field yet this summer.
  • Mark is presently visiting the Holy Land with a tour group, his brothers, dad, and some German pastors.

The Snells

  • Baptist Mid-Missions to Germany on deputation.
  • Baby is due March 22. Pray their remaining support is in soon so they can go to Germany this summer! Every week until baby arrives they have meetings scheduled.

James / Christen Taylor – Brazil (www.taylors4brazil.blogspot.com )    

        They are $750. a month short of support. Plans are underway for their return to the field, and goals for the Church there are being set even before they get back there.

  • Baptist Mid-Missions, in Brazil
  • Seven people are very interested in accepting Christ but have yet to make the decision. Pray for them.

David and Patti West

  • Gospel Mission of S.A.
  • They are in language school now. Support in the amount of $800. more a month still is needed.

Mark and Jennifer Tyylavsky

  • Pray that they can join their coworkers in the DelMarVa area this summer!.
  • An accident to their trailer was bad, but they sent out an urgent specific prayer request, and God MARVELOUSLY answered. (See letter on missions board!)

Joy Akkermann

  • Baptist Mid-Missions headed to the jungles of Peru
  • Her return from being with family over Christmas was delayed because the road to the jungle had collapsed. Pray for safe travels. She will be teaching VBS when she arrives back in Peru.

  • They have resigned from ABWE. Now with Village Missions.
  • There are 17 Village Missions churches across the U.S. that need a pastor.
  • By May, 2017, the Campbell family hopes to be ministering in one of these churches. Prayers needed!

Mark, Anahi, and Sophia Self

  • Church planters/Serving in Argentina. Their letter gives an amazing report of the work team from the states and an opportunity with the police at headquarters before they go out on duty!
  • God has richly blessed with the needed funds coming in toward the building.

Rick and Elaine Fessel

  • Assisting the German Missionaries in Eichstatt, Germany (BMM) A Friday afternoon Kid’s Bible Club is their latest ministry.
  • One of the two recent refugee converts must go back. Pray for God’s will in his life, and for these men to be strong converts/missionaries!

Ben and Katie Wooster

  • CBM Builders.
  • Their support level is at 85%, and they report all continues to go well at the W VA site.
  • Pray that funds for the needed 5th wheel replacement will come in by the end of this summer. l

The Hemsworths

  • On deputation to serve at Missionary Acres.
  • Check out their new website: hemsworths2ma.com
  • Support has reached 39%. Pray they reach 60% by September so that they can attend Launch Seminar and be at Missionary Acres a year from this summer.
  • There is a “well” issue at Missionary Acres that needs to be resolved.

The Barry Farlow family

  • Serving with Baptist Mid-Missions in Brazil in Church and Seminary teaching. Their furlough comes in July.
  • Pray that the publishing building sells so a replacement building can be purchased in a different area.

 

LET’S PRAY, GIVE, AND GO TO OUR NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS! IF WE ARE ALL FAITHFUL IN OUR TASK, THE JOB WILL GET DONE! Pray for FBBC and Seminary students, Pastor Capon, State GARBC Rep.; the online Bible study for kids at www.iToadU.com ; Shepherd’s; Alpha Women’s Center; our KJAN Radio Broadcast and our website: www.fbcbrayton.org ; IARBC statewide ministries; Baptist Children’s Home Ministries; and Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh. Pray for Israel/the Jews. Pray that we will see those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods. Patch Clubs and the Youth Compass ministries – that kids could attend regularly Pray for upcoming Brayton Challenge night. Pray families in this area will see the need of boys and girls to hear the Gospel and to grow spiritually through: Sunday School, Children’s Church, as well as the Patch/Compass ministries.
