Virgil and Dolores Bunjer

  • Retired missionaries from Germany, living in Ankeny, IA
  • The Bunjers recently spent time in the dentist’s chair having work done.
  • Virgil’s back and leg pain continues whenever he stands or walks – in spite of therapy, etc. Pray they will be able to travel and visit Churches!

Allen and Marilyn Adler

  • Native American ministry, Townsend, MT.
  • They recently traveled for the graduations of their granddaughters. Allen gives a good report of the prison ministry.
  • He is in charge of the nursing home ministry this month.
  • Pray for strength. Allen and Marilyn have reached 82 yrs. of age.

Ron and Kathleen Weber

  • “Retired” in NJ after Church planting for 40 years in Brazil.

Joan Nichols

  • Living in Ankeny, formerly served in Latin America

Wyzetta Titus

  • Widow of Gerald Titus faithfully serving the homebound in her area of VA
  • She was recently cheered during an illness by a mail bundle from one of her supporting Churches.
  • She has needed dental work done. This is the month she will be starting that. God enabled her to get a discounted rate!

  • Serving in Kumamoto, Japan – workers needed!
  • Seeking to build bridges to individuals and establish Churches.
  • They have been thrilled that Yoko accepted Christ as her Savior, and shows evidence of her faith.
  • With new attendees coming to the Kikuchi Bible study, the Smiths want to start another weekly study in Minamii-Aso (an hr. away), for there is the potential of three families there. This would necessitate getting land and a building for meeting. (Details on the letter posted on the Missions’ Board tell how you can contribute money!)
  • The Smith Family plans to be in the States on a short furlough from mid-December through mid-March.

  • A mother recently lost a premature baby; her religion gives no hope. Pray she can receive the comfort only God can give.

  • There has been a recent measles outbreak.
  • Upcoming summer ministry – VBS and art camp in July.

  • The Church there is approved to build a building. Funds are being collected.
  • Pray for Lucas and Eliana as they are travelling to the US this month to spend time with their grandparents.

Henry John Family

  • With Baptist Mid-Missions serving in their native India
  • Molly needs a kidney transplant.
  • The current India trip includes the John family, 8 college students, and others. Pray for health and safety.

Pat and Bonnie Ryal

  • They are dealing with long-term effects of the chemo drugs the Dr. needed in order to go into remission with the cancer. An irregular heart rhythm is the latest issue. Pray they can still be of use to the Lord in Nicaragua and other Latin American areas.

  • Campus Ministries at ISU in Ames
  • Selling their present home and the building of their new home are on schedule. Pray for the summer ministry and for the three students that graduated.
  • Pray for the Sharbaughs — that the rest of their support will come in soon. The ministry so needs them full-time.
  • Praise: Over 20 of the student leaders remained in Ames for the summer!
  • Pray for Indonesia. The Christian governor of Jakarta was convicted of blasphemy against the Quran by a Sharia court and was sentenced for 2 yrs. in prison! Pray for Christians in Indonesia!

  • With Baptist Mid-Missions, translator of the Scriptures.
  • Translation is tedious. Pray for accuracy with the team.
  • Pray for the teenage boy who is being told by family he must undergo initiation rites, but his desire is to please the Lord. Pray he can be safe and not rejected totally by family.

  • Micronesian Medical Missions, Baptist Mid-Missions, Guam

  • With Baptist Mid-Missions – Ghana. At 85% support level – hoping to soon be back in Ghana.
  • Pray that their daughter is called to serve in Ghana. She recently graduated from Faith and is concluding a survey trip to Ghana as a possible field of future ministry.

  • The family is leaving for furlough in the US. They will report to 15 Churches.
  • They plan to be back on the field the end of September for the inauguration of the building.

  • Assisting the German Missionaries in Eichstatt, Germany (BMM)
  • A Bible Conference on June 23,24 will be in Persian for the benefit of refugees. Pray that those who come will hear and accept Truth!

  • CBM Builders.
  • $6,450 has been received for the trailer fund. Their support level has reached 84.6%.

The Hemsworth Family

  • On deputation to serve at Missionary Acres.

The Barry Farlow family

  • Serving with Baptist Mid-Missions in Brazil in Church and Seminary teaching. Their furlough comes in July.
  • Pray for the Farlows as they come to the States for furlough. Pray for good meetings while here and safe travel as they go from Church to Church to report.

 

 

LET’S PRAY, GIVE, AND GO TO OUR NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS! IF WE ARE ALL FAITHFUL IN OUR TASK, THE JOB WILL GET DONE! Pray for FBBC and Seminary students as they travel the globe this summer on ministry teams, Pastor Capon, State GARBC Rep.(Pray for a couple of IA Churches are close to closing! ☹), the online Bible study for kids at www.iToadU.com ; Shepherd’s; Alpha Women’s Center; our KJAN Radio Broadcast and our website: www.fbcbrayton.org ; IARBC statewide ministries; Baptist Children’s Home Ministries; and Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh (recent severe storm there). Pray for Israel/the Jews. Pray that we will see those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods. Patch Clubs and the Youth Compass ministries discontinued for the summer. Pray for VBS. Pray that kids can attend Church on Sunday. Pray that families in this area will see the need of boys and girls to hear the Gospel and to grow spiritually through: Sunday School, Children’s Church ministries.
