  • The Bunjers got to be with nearly 400 missionaries at the BMM annual Conference. The ride was painful for Virgil’s back and arms..

  • Discontinuing as Church Planters with BCP at Chalco Hills Baptist Church in the Omaha area of NE
  • The Barfknechts are halting the NE Church plant. They will be taking a few weeks of contemplation/reporting and will seek to ascertain the Lord’s direction for future ministry for their family..
  • Pray for the families that were working alongside the Barfknechts – that they will be able to find good Churches in their local area to become a part of now the Church is dissolving.

  • Nicole recently attended the Hospice/Childlife sponsored camp there as an aid to a teen. Pray that this girl will accept Christ as her Savior.
  • Pray that the teens will boldly profess faith in Christ. Praise the Lord for a good VBS!

  • Pastor training beginning by the end of summer!
  • There is much excitement about the ABWE project that would further the spread of the Gospel in Columbia. A report is soon to come!

Henry John Family

  • With Baptist Mid-Missions serving in their native India
  • Molly needs a kidney transplant.
  • We have yet to receive the report of the summer ministry team!

Pat and Bonnie Ryal

  • They are dealing with long-term effects of the chemo drugs the Dr. needed in order to go into remission with the cancer. An irregular heart rhythm is his latest health issue. Pray they can still be of use to the Lord in Nicaragua and other Latin American areas.

  • Campus Ministries at ISU in Ames
  • The Hatfield’s have moved to their new home! (6399 Prairie Ridge Rd. Ames)
  • Pray for the Sharbaughs – their support level at 76%. They are having deputation meetings and working in the campus ministry.
  • Classes begin August 21. Pray that students will be reached that will become part of this year’s campus ministry/fellowship.

  • With Baptist Mid-Missions – Ghana. Need $850 a month – hoping to soon be back serving in Ghana.
  • Will present their ministry at First Baptist in Cumberland August 27th.

  • With COME bringing an evangelistic outreach to small Churches.

Pat and Wendy Campbell

  • Baptist Mid-Missions, Missionaries to Peru
  • Pat was the presenter at Raccoon River Bible Camp Science Camp this summer.
  • Pray for their ministry presentations. They are now scheduling to speak at Churches Sept. through Feb. of next year.

Wesley and Sonia Chatla

  • International Gospel Missions – Church planting in India
  • Continue to pray Wesley’s father will completely recover from his accident so that he is able to continue his ministry to his native people.
  • Praise the Lord that a place for the Church in Machilipatnam to meet has been found. Ask the Lord to continue to bless as preparations are made to finish getting the hall ready for regular use and the dedication service!

  • Camp was well attended with 100+ kids and teens attending their respective weeks.
  • Pray for a meeting place for the Church to gather. Doctrinal statement meetings are continuing.

The Snells

  • Baptist Mid-Missions to Germany.
  • They are packing and working out details for their move to Germany on September 18th.
  • Finding housing is a big request. The Boyds say the housing market is very tight in Neumarkt!

  • The family continues to settle in after their furlough time in the US.

  • Gospel Mission of S.A. Pray that their remaining support is forthcoming.
  • They are back in language school in TX through the end of this year. The mission desires for them to leave for Argentina as quickly as possible after graduation so that the language is constantly in use.

Mark and Jennifer Tylavsky

  • Church Planters with CBM.
  • They arrived safely in the Washington, D.C. area and God have worked out many details, provided housing, and blessed abundantly.
  • Pray that as they settle in to start helping to plant a Church there that they adjust as a family and that the remaining support comes in quickly.

  • The police ministry continues to bring many opportunities even as the Selfs are on a short furlough to the USA.
  • A major leak on the second floor of the new church building created a crisis below while the Selfs have been here reporting in the U.S. God answered an urgent e-mail prayer request about the need of $12,000 to fix the problem, and even as the Selfs head back, repairs are being made!

  • Assisting the German Missionaries in Eichstatt, Germany (BMM) .

Ben and Katie Wooster

  • CBM Builders. Completing the West Virginia project.
  • Almost $9000. has come in for the trailer. Pray about this purchase.
  • Praise the Lord for Kidren’s great checkup. Unless the parents have concerns, he doesn’t need follow-up with the special Drs.

The Hemsworth Family

  • On deputation to serve at Missionary Acres.
  • Check out their new website: hemsworths2ma.com
  • Their goal is to be at full support by June 30, 2018.
  • Missionary Acres needs the abilities the Hemsworths have and are willing to put to use there. Pray that support comes in speedily!

The Barry Farlow family

  • Serving with Baptist Mid-Missions in Brazil in Church and Seminary teaching.
  • Pray for the Farlows as they travel the States on furlough. Pray for continued safety in travels. God provided a vehicle, and a Dr. has assisted with the procurement of Mark’s diabetes medications!
  • Pray for the Bible College back in Brazil. There is low student enrollment this year, and the bills cannot be paid with this low number of students. The report from the Church there is very good!

 

 

LET’S PRAY, GIVE, AND GO TO OUR NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS! IF WE ARE ALL FAITHFUL IN OUR TASK, THE JOB WILL GET DONE! Pray for FBBC and Seminary students as they return to classes. Pastor Capon, State GARBC Rep.(Pray for a couple of IA Churches are close to closing! ☹), the online Bible study for kids at www.iToadU.com ; Shepherd’s; Alpha Women’s Center; our KJAN Radio Broadcast and our website: www.fbcbrayton.org ; IARBC statewide ministries; Baptist Children’s Home Ministries; and Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh. Pray for Israel/the Jews. Pray that we will reach those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods. Patch Clubs as they resume. Pray that kids can attend Church on Sunday. Pray that families in this area will see the need of boys and girls to hear the Gospel and to grow spiritually every week through: Sunday School, Children’s Church ministries. Women’s
