  • The Church wants to contract with Pastor Alfredo as their pastor, but finances are “not overly healthy.”
  • Pray for the Boyds as they consider different options for the family’s future ministry.

  • Some young men from a Northern Germany Bible College visited to see what church planting in Southern Germany is like.
  • The Boyds eagerly await the help of the Snells as the work to establish a Church in Neumarkt continues slowly with only one couple.
  • A Friday night prayer meeting is being held for the lost people the small group of Christians knows.

The Snells

  • Baptist Mid-Missions to Germany, now on deputation.
  • Baby is due March 22
  • The goal is still the same: Germany by June.
  • 73% of the support is in, and the calendar is filled except for a week off with “Baby.”

  • They are in language school now. Support in the amount of $800. more a month still is needed.

  • Pray that they can join their coworkers in the DelMarVa area this summer!.
  • Pray for their trip to the East over spring break. They hope to move to the D.C. area later this year!

Joy Akkermann

  • Baptist Mid-Missions headed to the jungles of Peru
  • When she returned from the States, she dropped into a week of VBS. Kids were reached through this as well as through neighborliness!
  • Pray for Saturday night youth group, Joy’s opportunity to speak at a Ladies’ Meeting, and for a weekly Bible Club starting in April.

  • They await an assignment with Village Missions.
  • There are 17 Village Missions churches across the U.S. that need a pastor. The decision is being made on which is the best fit for the Campbells
  • They need $1500. for moving expenses.

Mark, Anahi, and Sophia Self

  • Church planters/Serving in Argentina.
  • A construction team is arriving at the end of the month. The goal is to have the building ready to inaugurate Sept. 30th!
  • Two discipleships have begun.
  • The police opportunity has changed a bit since Roberto has been relocated temporarily. A “whatssapp” group of 35 policeman is meanwhile available, giving a portion of Scripture out daily with a brief explanation. Prayer requests have been shared with Mark through this means.

Rick and Elaine Fessel

  • Assisting the German Missionaries in Eichstatt, Germany (BMM) A Friday afternoon Kid’s Bible Club is their latest ministry.
  • The refugee had a hearing, and he may stay – at least until the next hearing. Pray also for the other refugee who awaits his fate.
  • The kid’s Bible Club has been named Bible Discoverers.

Ben and Katie Wooster

  • CBM Builders.
  • Their support level is at 85%, and they report all continues to go well at the W VA site. Building passed its electrical inspection.
  • Pray that funds for the needed 5th wheel replacement will come in before Sept. $5200. is the amount donated thus far.

The Hemsworth Family

  • On deputation to serve at Missionary Acres.

  • Support has reached 39%. Pray they reach 60% by September so that they can attend Launch Seminar and be at Missionary Acres a year from this summer.
  • There is a “well” issue at Missionary Acres that needs to be resolved.

The Barry Farlow family

  • Serving with Baptist Mid-Missions in Brazil in Church and Seminary teaching. Their furlough comes in July.
  • Latin American missionaries (the majority) are reaching retirement, and no new candidates are joining for ANY Latin American country! Pray that God will send forth laborers!
  • The future of the publishing building looks bright. Thanks for praying!
  • Ellen’s abdominal surgery went well. Improvement will come slowly. Keep praying.

 

 

 

LET’S PRAY, GIVE, AND GO TO OUR NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS! IF WE ARE ALL FAITHFUL IN OUR TASK, THE JOB WILL GET DONE! Pray for FBBC and Seminary students, Pastor Capon, State GARBC Rep.; the online Bible study for kids at www.iToadU.com ; Shepherd’s; Alpha Women’s Center; our KJAN Radio Broadcast and our website: www.fbcbrayton.org ; IARBC statewide ministries; Baptist Children’s Home Ministries; and Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh. Pray for Israel/the Jews. Pray that we will see those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods. Patch Clubs and the Youth Compass ministries. (The Club year has about 6 weeks left!) – that kids can attend regularly. Praise God for a good Brayton Challenge – that young people’s hearts have made and will make needed spiritual decisions. Pray that families in this area will see the need of boys and girls to hear the Gospel and to grow spiritually through: Sunday School, Children’s Church, as well as the Patch/Compass ministries.
