  • Molly needs a kidney transplant.
  • Molly plans to go with the family on this month’s India trip. Pray that adequate funds come in and for health and safety in travels as this is one of the larger groups to go – includes 8 college students.

Pat and Bonnie Ryal

  • They are dealing with long-term effects of the chemo drugs the Dr. needed in order to go into remission with the cancer. An irregular heart rhythm is the latest issue. Pray they can still be of use to the Lord in Nicaragua and other Latin American areas.

  • Campus Ministries at ISU in Ames
  • Selling their present home and the building of their new home are on schedule. Pray for the summer ministry and for the three students that graduated.
  • Pray for the Sharbaughs — that the rest of their support will come in soon. The ministry so needs them full-time.
  • Praise: new lens in George’s right eye has corrected his double vision problem.

  • Pray that their support comes quickly so that they can head back for a full term of ministry in Ghana.

  • The school year is underway. Pat is teaching several classes.
  • Wendy is helping with AWANA each Tuesday evening. Also, Children’s Bible Club. A medical outreach is going on this month.

Wesley and Sonia Chatla

  • International Gospel Missions – Church planting in India
  • Things are better health wise!
  • A place to worship has been located. Almost 100 can attend services here. The Church may rent for less, however, rent must be paid 5 months in advance. Some repairs make for additional money needed at this time. Pray the approximately $2300. has been received by now.

Mark and Leslie Boyd and Family

  • Missionaries to Germany
  • The prayer and Bible study group wants to become a Church and to develop a statement of faith.
  • Pray that opposition will not deter the Believers there. There is much “religion” in the city, but little true knowledge of Scriptural truth!

The Snells

  • Baptist Mid-Missions to Germany, now on deputation.
  • Baby has arrived safely.
  • The goal is still the same: Germany soon. They are presenting their ministry in IA, MO, and MI. They will be our VBS missionary family in July.
  • Their support is now 79%.

  • They continue to study in language school. Pray that $870. per month additional support will be in place so that they can be on the field a year from now.

Mark and Jennifer Tyylavsky

  • Pray with them as they hope to join their coworkers in the DelMarVa area this summer!.

Joy Akkermann

  • Baptist Mid-Missions headed to the jungles of Peru
  • Pray specially for Joy on Fridays as she teaches 5 classes and speaks in Chapel!

  • They await an assignment with Village Missions.

There are 17 Village Missions churches across the U.S. that need a pastor. The decision is being made on which is the best fit for the Campbells

Mark, Anahi, and Sophia Self

  • Church planters/Serving in Argentina.
  • The police ministry is flourishing again. (See photos sent by the Selfs!)
  • Much was accomplished on the building when a work team from MI spent several days working on the building. It should be ready to inaugurate by the end of Sept.
  • The Selfs are changing mission boards. They are now with Central Missionary Clearinghouse.

Rick and Elaine Fessel

  • Assisting the German Missionaries in Eichstatt, Germany (BMM)

Ben and Katie Wooster

  • CBM Builders.
  • $6,150 has been received for the trailer fund. Their support level has reached 80.5%.
  • The pastor of the Church where the Woosters are currently building has lung cancer. Pray for him as he goes through the radiation treatments..

The Hemsworth Family

  • On deputation to serve at Missionary Acres.

Pray their support can reach 60% by September or January so that they can attend Launch Seminar.

The Barry Farlow family

  • Serving with Baptist Mid-Missions in Brazil in Church and Seminary teaching. Their furlough comes in July.
  • Cole and students from Faith will be traveling to minister to the Seminary students there this month. Pray for safety and health for those traveling.
  • Pray for the Farlows as they come to the States for furlough. Pray for good meetings while here and safe travel as they go from Church to Church to report.

 

 

LET’S PRAY, GIVE, AND GO TO OUR NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS! IF WE ARE ALL FAITHFUL IN OUR TASK, THE JOB WILL GET DONE! Pray for FBBC and Seminary students as they travel the globe this summer on ministry teams, Pastor Capon, State GARBC Rep.(Pray for a couple of IA Churches are close to closing! ☹), the online Bible study for kids at www.iToadU.com ; Shepherd’s; Alpha Women’s Center; our KJAN Radio Broadcast and our website: www.fbcbrayton.org ; IARBC statewide ministries; Baptist Children’s Home Ministries; and Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh. Pray for Israel/the Jews. Pray that we will see those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods. Patch Clubs and the Youth Compass ministries discontinue for the summer. Pray for VBS. Pray that kids can attend Church on Sunday. Pray that families in this area will see the need of boys and girls to hear the Gospel and to grow spiritually through: Sunday School, Children’s Church ministries.
