  • Retired missionaries from Germany, living in Ankeny, IA

Allen and Marilyn Adler

  • Native American ministry, Townsend, MT.

Ron and Kathleen Weber

  • “Retired” in NJ after Church planting for 40 years in Brazil.
  • Kathleen’s mom went to be with the Lord on Feb. 14. She and her husband had been married 70 years.
  • Any memorials received will be divided between three ladies she taught that faithfully minister in children’s ministries and Bible college.
  • Pray for James to overcome his fear of talking as he continues to work daily.
  • Ron and Kathleen are busy in their local Church.

Joan Nichols

  • Living in Ankeny, formerly served in Latin America
  • Joan had a viral infection, hospitalization, and rehab. Now she is at home. Pray that her strength returns.

Wyzetta Titus

  • Widow of Gerald Titus faithfully serving the homebound in her area of VA

  • Serving in her Church in NE after years on the Amazon

  • Rising costs of building materials has put some projects on hold, and builders have no specific project for the spring and summer.
  • This coming month the Carrs travel to NY to help a Church develop building plans to meet the needs of their growing Church.

Henry John Family

  • With Baptist Mid-Missions serving in their native India
  • Molly needs a kidney transplant.
  • Because money was slow to come in for those traveling to teach the Seminary classes in January, some students were unable to attend — time restraints on making arrangements to travel. Pray for the 4 professors teaching this summer – that funds will come in in plenty of time!
  • Henry will be going in May with some students. The focus is on the Hindi Belt of India (North India).
  • Pray for the 5 new Church plants now going on in 5 new areas in northern India. Support for each individual is $300 a month.

Pat and Bonnie Ryal

  • They are dealing with long-term effects of the chemo drugs the Dr. needed in order to go into remission with the cancer. An irregular heart rhythm is his latest health issue. Pray the Ryals can still be of use to the Lord in Nicaragua and other Latin American areas.

  • Campus Ministries at ISU in Ames
  • A Chinese couple was recently baptized and joined Crossroad Baptist Church.
  • George and Dottie both continue to lead Bible studies. They are traveling March 8-20 to Ohio. They will report to their sending Church and visit unsaved family members who have been ill.
  • Please, continue to pray for C and R as they attempt to find a Biblically sound Church in Norway.

Anna Beth Wivell (www.annabethwiv.com )

  • She has electrical problems at her house. The batteries charge with solar panels and a generator. Getting the problems all sorted out is hard. One thing seems fixed and something else goes out.
  • Pray for Desire`, the teen who was being forced by his pagan family to undergo pagan initiation rites? He seems to have left a congregation of sound teaching. Pray he can stay in the center of God’s will for him!
  • Pray for a peaceful solution to the school and hospital strikes now going on in Chad. The post offices are now included. Pray for a soon resolution. The sick need treatment. Children wander the streets with nothing to do. Students cannot graduate. MUCH PRAYER NEEDED!
  • FACT: Africa’s 1.2 million people speak 2,144 of the world’s 7,099 languages!

Rhonda Green RN     

  • Micronesian Medical Missions, Baptist Mid-Missions, Guam

The Mapes

  • With Baptist Mid-Missions – Ghana. Back full-time in their African ministry.
  • Busy to the point of being OVERWHELMED! They are in charge of the Wa Station. Classes are underway. Besides teaching responsibilities, they are re-writing the constitution for the school.
  • If a group is looking for a work project/missions trip, they have construction projects on campus just waiting for those willing to help. Pray God will call some to meet this need!

  • With COME bringing an evangelistic outreach to small Churches.

Pat and Wendy Campbell

  • Baptist Mid-Missions, Missionaries to Peru
  • They have returned from to Peru to resume teaching responsibilities.

  • International Gospel Missions – Church planting in India

Mark and Leslie Boyd and Family

  • Church planting missionaries to Germany
  • A meeting place for the Church remains to be found. They were sure they had the ideal place this last month, but they discovered it would not meet fire codes for a Church meeting place. They continue to see unity and faith among the Believers. Keep praying.
  • Plans are underway for evangelistic meetings in September. Pray that getting through all the red tape will be doable. They plan to use and Evangelistic Bus!
  • The Church is involved in a mailbox campaign. The distribution of materials will happen in May.
  • Pray for a Billboard outreach going on 10 days before Easter. Pray that some website issues are resolved and that people will request materials off the website to lead them to salvation!

  • Baptist Mid-Missions to Germany.
  • They have in Germany for ½ year already.
  • Relationship building is underway.

  • Baptist Mid-Missions, in Brazil
  • They have been asked to work with another Guarani village about 2 hrs. away. Pray that the Gospel is well received.
  • A family counseling/educational center is being planned for a broken community of Sao Paulo. Pray for the 6 missionaries and wives who are undertaking the endeavor to bring structure to the community.

David and Patti West

  • Gospel Mission of S.A
  • Plans are to move to Argentina in this month. Pray that the remaining support has come in!

 Mark and Jennifer Tylavsky

  • Church Planters with CBM.
  • They still need to find a renter for their house here in IA.

Joy Akkermann

  • Baptist Mid-Missions transitioning to the jungles of Peru
  • Pray God will provide the property and the funds for a church building in the little town.
  • In August this year, Joy comes on her first furlough. (6 months)

  • They were refreshed by the European enrichment conference for BMM missionaries.
  • The refugee has been to court to determine if he gets to remain. We await the result of the hearing on his case.

Ben and Katie Wooster

  • CBM Builders.
  • Their support level has reached 90%.
  • They soon will head to IA. Pray for good weather when they undertake that move.
  • Pray they can soon start on another building project.

The Hemsworth Family

  • On deputation to serve at Missionary Acres.

The Barry Farlow family

  • On furlough from serving with Baptist Mid-Missions in Brazil in Church and Seminary teaching.
  • The Farlows are on the way to finish up reporting to Churches – still need $900. more a month support! Pray!

 

 

LET’S PRAY, GIVE, AND GO TO OUR NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS! IF WE ARE ALL FAITHFUL IN OUR TASK, THE JOB WILL GET DONE! Pray for FBBC and Seminary as students prepare to serve the Lord, Pastor Capon, State GARBC Rep., the state conference this month, the online Bible study for kids at www.iToadU.com ; Shepherd’s; Alpha Women’s Center; our KJAN Radio Broadcast and our website: www.fbcbrayton.org ; IARBC statewide ministries; Baptist Children’s Home Ministries; and Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh. Pray for Israel/the Jews. Pray that we will reach those who need the Lord in our own neighborhoods. Patch Clubs meet weekly and need much prayer. Pray that these kids can attend Sunday School and Church on Sunday. Pray that families in this area will see the need of boys and girls hearing the Gospel in order to grow spiritually every week.. Pray for and attend Women’s Bible Study, WMF Project Days and Men’s Prayer and Project Mornings!
